Kanakana is a famous Machiya styled cafeteria in Nara city. It is located in a traditional tourist area called “Naramachi” in Nara. Because of its popularity, sometimes you need to wait for getting into the cafeteria.

The menu of Kanakana

In Kanakana, they have a Japanese set menu with 1,300 yen from a lunch time to a dinner time.

The Japanese set menu has a rice, a soup and different small Japanese tapas with a drink. It is a very healthy menu so I recommend you to try it.
